Acceptance of these terms
By using OurSpend, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Your account
- You are responsible for the accuracy of information you add to the app.
- You are responsible for securing access to your device and sign-in methods.
- In household mode, household records may be visible to other members of the same household according to the app's available roles and permissions.
- If you use Apple or Google sign-in, your access depends on those providers and Firebase Authentication.
Financial information
- OurSpend is a financial tracking and organization tool, not a bank, lender, broker, or financial advisor.
- The app helps organize information you provide, but you remain responsible for verifying transactions, reminders, due dates, and financial decisions.
Households and app access
- OurSpend can be used without Premium, while optional Premium auto-renewable subscriptions unlock the Premium features shown in the app.
- The app supports solo use or a shared household with invited members.
- Household sharing depends on valid account access and the invite flow inside the app.
- Household admins can manage household-level settings and photos. If an admin wants to delete their account while other members remain, they must transfer admin access first.
- If you leave or are removed from a household, some past shared records may continue to show your former member name for transaction history.
App features
- Budgets, insights, reports, widgets, and transaction lists are informational tools based on records saved in the app.
- Recurring plans can create or prepare transactions, depending on the plan type and review flow. Posted transactions remain separate ledger entries.
- Scan Bill, voice entry, Paste SMS, merchant memory, and category suggestions are convenience features. Review generated details before saving.
Reminders and notifications
- Reminders, budget alerts, and widgets depend on device permissions, iOS scheduling, network state, and app refresh behavior.
- You should not rely on OurSpend as the only source for payment due dates, renewals, or other time-sensitive financial obligations.
OurSpend Premium subscriptions
- OurSpend Premium is an optional auto-renewable subscription that provides the Premium features shown in the app.
- Subscriptions are billed through your Apple Account after purchase confirmation. The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period.
- Your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current subscription period ends. You can manage or cancel the subscription in your Apple Account subscription settings.
- If you cancel, Premium access remains available until the end of the current paid period unless Apple provides otherwise. Existing saved data remains available according to these terms and the Privacy Policy.
- Prices and available subscription periods are displayed in the app and may vary by country or region. Apple handles payment, billing, refunds, and subscription management.
- Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement may apply to the app unless a custom EULA is provided in App Store Connect.
Your data and deletion
- You can edit many records directly in the app and export a spreadsheet-friendly copy from Settings.
- Deleted user-facing records may appear in Recently Deleted for up to 30 days before permanent deletion, unless you permanently delete them sooner.
- Account deletion is available in Settings. Solo account deletion removes the solo account data. Household deletion behavior depends on your household role and whether other members remain.

Acceptable use
- Do not misuse the app, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with services, or use the app in a way that harms other users.
- Do not upload content you do not have the right to use.
- Do not rely on the app for emergency, legal, tax, or regulated financial advice.
Availability and changes
- Features may change over time.
- Some functionality depends on Apple services, Firebase services, Google services, network access, notifications, or permissions on your device.
- Some features may be unavailable temporarily because of maintenance, outages, or third-party service issues.
Limitation
- To the extent permitted by law, OurSpend is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
- You should keep your own judgment and records for important financial matters.
